2017/2018 marks our 22nd (boys) and 19th (girls) season as central PA’s premier Junior Olympic Volleyball Club. In that time we have trained nearly 2000 players (boys & girls), including 172 All county players, 83 All State Players, 21 FAB50 players and 6 All-Americans over the past 20 years. Approximately 90% of our players go on to play at the college level. On the boys side, we have competed nationally every year at the USA National Championships. We have also had boys teams who have won the Nittany, Can-Am, and Northeast qualifier events. On the girls side we have competed nationally at the USA National Championships, AAU National Championships, Las Vegas Invitational, NEQ, MEQ, Lone Star Qualifier, Tampa Qualifier, and the National Invitational Tournament. By choosing Yorktowne, you will be training with the elite players in south central PA. Our coaches have experience playing and coaching at the High School, USA, Pro Beach, and NCAA levels and understand what it takes to compete and excel. Training begins in October and continues through February for the boys and November through May for the girls. We offer teams for players ages 12 and up. We also offer a developmental league for younger players.
Yorktowne Volleyball Club is a nationally prominent, competitive program dedicated to advancing the personal and athletic development of youth through the pursuit of excellence in volleyball, fostering a sense of community throughout the club while promoting leadership in all club members.
The coaches, athletes, parents and other members of Yorktowne Volleyball Club want to share the vision of creating and supporting a program that has a profound, positive effect on the young athletes within the context of competitive volleyball. We help young athletes develop “life” skills by teaching them to set challenging yet achievable goals. We assist young athletes to achieve these goals by instilling in them a personal commitment to support each other and work as a team; we pledge to do whatever it takes to create and support such a program.
